In August of 2020, the individuals who would soon become the founders of CCA met to discuss the prospect of a school in Fargo for the first time. With a location in hand and a vision in mind, the founders quickly found themselves attracted to the idea of a classical school in Fargo.
Despite a relative lack of knowledge concerning classical education, the founders were inspired by visits to Trinity School in South Bend, Indiana, and Hillsdale Academy in Hillsdale, Michigan. Both schools evidenced the incredible impact created in a community by offering a classical education to students of all backgrounds.
Those visits quickened the spirits of the founders to establish CCA. Each founder began to educate themselves on the philosophy and methods of classical education as they embarked on the mission to bring classical education to Fargo, North Dakota.
