Mrs. Bethany Ustanko

Beth Ustanko earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Concordia College and her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Catherine University. She completed her coursework for her Gifted and Talented Endorsement at the University of North Dakota. Her 23 years of teaching experience includes teaching in the Moorhead, West Fargo, and Fargo Public School Districts. Beth began her career as an elementary classroom teacher, and for the past 10 years, she has served as a gifted education specialist.

Beth is excited to teach in a classical Christian setting. She sees many parallels between the teaching methods of classical education and gifted education, first and foremost being an emphasis on thinking. Beth appreciates how classical education promotes a love of learning and scholarship. She is also looking forward to teaching in a school which embraces Christian faith, and she is looking forward to sharing God’s truths with her students.

Beth and her husband live in West Fargo, and together they have a daughter who attends Concordia College. Outside of school, some of her favorite activities are reading and attending her daughter’s orchestra concerts. In addition, Beth has volunteered on the North Dakota Association for Gifted Children board since 2018.
