Parent Testimonials
We love our parent partners.
“Our previous school struggled to build and maintain a healthy learning environment, particularly in reading, writing, and student behavior. At Capstone, reading, writing, and student behavior are foundational. Teachers and Administrators are committed and equipped to help students in these areas and more. Christian discipleship and accompaniment pervades every aspect of students' educational experience. Other schools will lead you to believe they can do more than they actually can deliver on. Capstone has the structure and support in place to deliver on what they say they will do.”
“Capstone has been such a blessing to our family and our children. The school has provided not only a strong academic foundation, but also a nurturing, faith-centered environment where our children are encouraged to grow in character, confidence, and leadership. We have seen our children thrive socially, spiritually, and academically through the support and dedication of the teachers and staff. Capstone has truly become an important part of our family’s life and future.”
“We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to send our children to Capstone Classical Academy, where the teachers and staff intentionally cultivate a love for the Good, the True and the Beautiful! In a world that often feels rushed and distracted, it is a true gift to have their hearts and minds shaped by truth, grounded in faith and inspired by beauty. Where the education points beyond academics to Christ, we have enjoyed watching our children grow in both knowledge and character. It is a blessing we do not take for granted.”
“After our daughter’s kindergarten year in the public school system, we chose Capstone Classical Academy for first grade because we were looking for a stronger curriculum, smaller class sizes, and a school culture with high expectations for both learning and behavior. We’ve been so thankful for the way Capstone treats students like capable, thoughtful people and encourages them to participate in respectful, meaningful conversations. Our daughter often comes home excited to share what she’s learning, whether she’s reciting Latin words, teaching us a new Singapore Math method, or singing songs from school. She has also had much less stress and anxiety at Capstone, and it has been such a gift to see her love of learning grow. As a family without strong ties to the Catholic Church, we’ve felt genuinely welcomed by the school community, and we’re especially grateful for the kindness and generosity Capstone showed our family during a difficult financial season.”
“In a very short time at Capstone, we’ve seen incredible growth in our daughter, both socially and academically. She has become more confident and engaged, and it’s clear that the Capstone approach has been a much better academic fit. The intentional structure, high expectations, and supportive environment have really helped her thrive in ways we haven’t seen before. It’s been a meaningful change for our family, and we are very grateful.”
“Our son joined Capstone at the start of his Grade 7 year, after previously attending public school, and this first year has been an incredibly positive experience for him and for our family. As he prepares to enter Grade 8, we are grateful for the ways Capstone has helped him feel welcomed, supported, and known as an individual. Compared with our previous school setting, what has stood out most is Capstone’s unique classical Christian approach, where rigorous academics are paired with an emphasis on wisdom, virtue, character, and a thoughtful Christian worldview. We have seen our son grow in confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning, while also being appropriately challenged in a caring environment. We truly appreciate Capstone’s partnership with families, its genuine care for each student, and the way it helps students become thoughtful, grounded, and engaged members of their community.”
“The changes we have seen in our daughter during this past year in Kindergarten at Capstone are truly remarkable. Her growth has been so heartwarming for our family to get to experience with her. She has always been interested in the stories of the Bible. With this Classical Christian curriculum, she has grown so much in her knowledge of the Bible, that she has been able to use what she has been taught in her own personal experiences at home and in the classroom. Our daughter's respect for others has grown, along with her own self respect for herself. She has always been a kind and helpful child, and we have seen these values strengthened in her over the year. She is extremely proud to be a Golden Gryphon, and the nurturing community setting at Capstone, makes her eager to want to exhibit and practice the virtues that are expected of her by her teachers, peers, family, and very importantly, of herself.”
“I’m thrilled with Capstone’s outstanding curriculum—you won’t find a better education in the area. Both my kids have developed a true love for learning, something I never had growing up. It’s amazing to see them choose books over tablets, which feels so rare today. Their virtues, like integrity and fortitude, have grown tremendously since starting at Capstone. The personal care from the staff they interact with warms my heart. I’m so grateful to have a school that fosters genuine learning, including critical thinking—a skill seemingly lost today—and strong values for my kids. I’m also, personally, proud to have been given the opportunity to help contribute to its early success.”
“Our child’s teachers are wonderful teachers, role models, and examples of what it means to follow Jesus.”
“We love hearing the Bible lessons our daughter learns in school, and it is so powerful to hear that she is immersed in such sound teaching.”
“Our daughter has only positive things to say about what they are learning, and she loves to come home and tell us about the letter they are learning and what they are doing in math. She loves the opportunities she receives.”
“Our daughter is always sad to leave on Friday because she has to wait until the weekend to go back to school.”
“Our child’s teacher is encouraging, thoughtful, and commands her classroom to pull students toward virtue.”
“Our child's teacher demonstrates her love and belief in God and her role in educating our children in His name. She honors and respects parents and reaches out with issues and praises in the classroom. She is very approachable for my child and myself with anything we have wanted to discuss. ”

“Across all aspects of Capstone, they are pointing the children to Jesus, the author of all that is true, good and beautiful. The amazing staff is outstanding in their subject areas, in teaching and leading in the classical model and in living out their faith.”
“Our child’s teacher is balanced in her approach—lets the students navigate themselves but also steps in when appropriate and intentionally covers virtuous living in the classroom through examples and dialogue.”
“Capstone kindergarten was a perfect fit for our son! Thanks to his incredible classroom teacher and the other supporting teachers and staff, he grew in so many ways, but especially in academics, character, and self control. It was the best way to start our school experience.”
“We feel confident if we have a need or question it will be met in a timely and thoughtful manner. We truly feel like partners in our children's education, working side by side with teachers, staff and leadership.”

“This education is unmatched in our region, in my opinion. The curriculum, recitation, teaching them how to speak in front of others, teaching them how to critically think and then be able to support what they believe, the high value placed on virtue, behavior, and being someone who strives for likeness of Christ.”

“Our child is excited about learning and has become fascinated with the Bible. We feel the administration has set good and worthy goals. The school feels safe to us. We believe the values and mission of the school and its members are good. The parent involvement and extracurriculars are outstanding.”
“We have truly been blessed by our experience at Capstone. Our 4th child was in Kindergarten the first year Capstone opened. She had tremendous growth both academically and spiritually. One thing that stands out the most is the value Capstone places on not just growing kids academically but also virtuously, starting even in kindergarten. Capstone has specific virtues that are assessed on progress reports along with the academic advancements. We saw beautiful virtuous and academic growth in our learner. The curriculum is completely different than any other school in the area. They teach wisdom, fortitude, reverence, and integrity. They have many activities and discussions which gives them an even better understanding, and makes them excited to learn. Every subject is tied in Biblically which is really important to our family. We are so thankful to be a part of Capstone!”
“The curriculum has been challenging but I see my children (and myself!) making progress as the year has gone on and am glad to see my children being challenged. We are so thankful for the Christ centered focus and being able to integrate that with the classical approach to teaching. We couldn't be more pleased. The Lord has done wonders to bring all of these excellent teachers and staff and families together to glorify Him and have this opportunity for our children.”
“I have never observed teaching of this caliber in my entire life. I was very impressed with my child’s teacher. It was incredible how she controlled the room but in such a kind yet firm way. I am so grateful to be part of Capstone and to have our kids there.”

“I've seen such positive change in my child's excitement to learn, especially in the scope of our Christian foundation. I had never seen him pick up a book rather than the remote prior to his attendance at Capstone Classical Academy.”
“I’m very satisfied with what my children are learning both academically and spiritually. I love the values of Capstone and the culture of the school.”

“The curriculum, faculty and culture is outstanding. Our daughter is growing in so many ways and is starting to really embrace learning. She also feels safe, cared for, and respected. The Christian focus is not just during Bible study but permeates all learning. This approach is helping our daughter grow spiritually.”
