Our Hiring Process

We are seeking adventurous, classically-minded Christian educators to serve on our creative, energetic team of pioneers that desires to spend its ideas, talents, and skills in shaping a school culture and tradition in the early years of its growth and development. We seek humble, eager, and thoughtful visionary team members who desire to be sharpened and challenged together for the blessing of our students to the glory of God.

To start the process, complete the application for employment. Please be prepared to upload the following:

  • Your letter of interest in the position
  • Your resumé, including three (3) professional references, and two (2) personal references who can speak to the maturity of your Christian faith
  • Your undergraduate and graduate transcripts (unofficial is fine; official required when offer of employment is made)
  • Educator’s state license, if applicable and available

The Headmaster and administrative team will review your application materials and will either invite you to complete a pre-interview essay questionnaire or will inform you that they are moving forward with other candidates.

If offered the pre-interview questionnaire, the Headmaster and administrative team will review your responses and will either invite you to a personal interview or will inform you that they are moving forward with other candidates.

If you are applying for a teaching position you may be asked to teach a sample lesson for the hiring committee.

After the steps above are completed, the Headmaster and administration will make offers to the top candidates and will inform other candidates in a timely manner if they are not selected.

At Capstone, we believe that hiring the right people is the most important task for delivering on our promises to our parents and students and for being good stewards of the ministry of classical and Christian education with which we have been entrusted by God. Members of our team find that our work is challenging yet immensely rewarding and that the team on which we serve encourages and sharpens us for the blessing of our students for the glory of God.
