Boys Assistant Coach: Blaine Cook

Blaine Cook was raised in rural North Dakota, where growing up in a farming community instilled in him the values of hard work, humility, integrity, and serving others. Those lessons continue to shape his life today. He and his wife, Lakin, are blessed with three boys. Their Christian faith is the foundation of their home and the lens through which Blaine strives to lead.

Blaine earned both his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and his master’s degree in Physical Education from North Dakota State University. He is also a full-time real estate agent with RE/MAX Legacy Realty.

As a coach, Blaine believes basketball is a vehicle for developing young athletes of character. His goal is to build meaningful relationships with his players while instilling discipline, accountability, selflessness, and a relentless work ethic. He seeks to help his players grow not only as basketball players, but also as leaders, teammates, and followers of Christ who are prepared to make a lasting impact long after the final buzzer.
