Cultivating Wisdom, Virtue, and the Affections
Once a week, all Capstone students in K-12 gather in one of two chapel programs, to hear a message from Scripture, to sing praises to God and wisdom to one another, and to pray corporately to be shaped by God for His purposes.
In our daily recitation for grades K-5, students recite poetry, Scripture, proverbs, historic Christian doctrine, facts from their content areas, and principles of citizenship from our nation’s founding documents.
Our upper school students in grades 6-12 gather daily to start their day in Lauds, a time of brief liturgy that includes singing of hymns and Psalms, congregational responsive reading of Scripture, and corporate prayer.
On this page, we will archive content from these unique features of a Capstone education as it is developed.
