
Cross Country

Victoria Mitchell is a former Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete who brings world-class racing experience and a deep passion for distance running to her coaching. A two-time Olympian, she represented Australia in the 3000 m steeplechase at both the 2008 Beijing and 2016 Rio Olympic Games, as well as at multiple World Championships.
Victoria also competed in 3x World Cross Country Championships — Fukuoka, Mombasa, and Edinburgh — where Australia secured a team bronze medal in Fukuoka. Earlier in her career, she placed 11th at the 2002 World University Cross Country Championships and went on to achieve significant collegiate success in the United States. As a student-athlete at Butler University, she won 2x Horizon League Cross Country Championships (2004 and 2005) and after winning Pre Nats, she finished fourth at the 2005 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships, clocking 19:50.4 for the 6 km course.
Coach Vic is passionate not only on giving these student athletes foundational technical skills and knowledge, working their technique from the ground up, but also on focusing their energy primarily on giving their all for the glory of God.
