  • kendra kudrna 25

    Mrs. Kendra Kudrna

    Fourth Grade Teacher

Kendra Kudrna holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Dakota. This will be Mrs. Kudrna's 7th year of teaching, and her 4th year as a 4th grade teacher!

Mrs. Kudrna feels deeply encouraged by the intentional way the classical model cultivates lifelong learners and ignites curiosity in all that is true and beautiful.  Kendra strives to cultivate peace, humility, and goodness in her students so that they may carry those virtues with them outside of the classroom. "There are so many things that just feel right about Capstone, but most importantly that God is at the center of all we desire to do and are able to do."

Kendra lives in West Fargo with her husband Mitch and their three boys. They love to hike, ski, and travel to the mountains to explore God’s beautiful creation together. In her free time, Kendra loves to read, organize, paint, and play sports with her family. She looks forward to building relationships and growing in her faith alongside colleagues, students, and their families.

Molly Wobbema holds bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education from Valley City State University and Child Development and Family Science from NDSU. She served as a tutor and director of a classical homeschool community, where she helped others classically educate their own children, for five years. Mrs. Wobbema loves helping 5th graders cultivate wisdom and virtue as they begin to desire more dialectic conversations.

Molly and her husband, Jordan, love to hike, snowshoe, ice skate, and play outside with their four children. They live in West Fargo and attend Calvary Church in Moorhead. In her free time, Molly loves to experiment with sourdough, spend time in her garden, and read.

  • robert brandau 25

    Mr. Robert Brandau II

    Fifth Grade Teacher

Robert Brandau was born and raised in Colorado. He earned his B.A. in History with a minor in Classical Education at Hillsdale College. He and his wife, Emelie, are excited to join the Capstone faculty in the fall.

"Capstone won us over to its mission and vision because of how it balances the classical and Christian elements of a good education, wherein students are invited into the enchanting world of learning about the source of the three Transcendentals—God Himself," says Mr. Brandau. He continues, "If that was not enough, the school community revealed its heart for hospitality and the noble commitment of spurring on one another to love and good works. We are thrilled to move to Fargo and extend the same hospitality to our new neighbors."

Mr. and Mrs. Brandau have been married since May of 2024. They enjoy quality time with each other in its various forms: daily devotions, reading their favorite books to each other, camping, hiking, and visiting museums. In his free time, Robert enjoys rugby, volleyball, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Even more often than athletic pursuits, he finds himself delving into a work of theology, history, or literature, and subsequently trying to share what he learns with others. He and his wife are new to Fargo, but they are considering membership at a church in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

  • kaylie young 25

    Mrs. Kaylie Young

For Kaylie, good teaching is modeled after the greatest teacher, Jesus himself. She believes that through his words, she and her students learn what it is to truly become wise and virtuous. She strives to be a living example of Christ in fulfillment of the Great Commission. Her prayer for her students is that they learn and grow and become smarter than her.

She and her family attend West Prairie Free Lutheran Church in rural Kindred. She and her husband, Dustin, have three beautiful children and live on a farm in southeast North Dakota.
